Full-Time vs Part-Time Bivo

Always a great topic to debate, however I couldn’t help but notice you guys seemed to agree too much to call this an actual debate, so I’ll call it a tie. 😉

I currently serve as a “MoveIn Bivocational Church Planting Pastor” in Oshawa, On. Our approach is missional/incarnational, making working outside of our parish a bit of a challenge.

Episode 266 wraps up the podcast in one show

As Daniel and Todd debate two sides of vocational and bi-vocational ministry. Both argue good points for their fictional cause and the potential hurdles of the other side. Basically this is the answer, there is no one answer for church planting. This podcast gives practical advice while at the same time proving that there is no silver bullet for church planting. If there is a winner of the debate between Todd and Daniel, the winner is Ed.

I have been listening to this podcast now for about 8 months. As someone that is starting out on the church planting mission, I have found this podcast to be a real life saver. I really appreciate that the advice is grounded in research. Daniel, Todd and Ed’s style of reportage cracks me up. I always come away feeling more encouraged, equipped and happier than before. Keep up the excellent work, stay relevant, keep inspiring! Doug V. Ottawa.
