In Depth And Important

Bob is a pillar and a legend. I listen to this show because it inspires me to action. My favourite episode is the one where they interview the Jon Stewart of Argentina. So good.

Been going downhill fast

I've listened to this podcast for more than 10 years, every week, without exception. It used to be great, and you could learn a lot. Now it's just a bunch of outraged liberal ranting, much of it ridiculous. Case in point was Bob Garfield opining after the 2016 election about "how could we have got it so wrong?" Seriously. I wanted to say, "Go down the hallways on every floor of the NPR building you work in and put a red sticky note on the door of every office where you think there is a Republican working. Oh, wait.... you don't need any sticky notes because there are no Republicans hired at NPR. And THAT is how you got it so wrong." These Brook and Bob listen only to people who think exactly the way they do.... and hence if you you like how they think, you will love this show and learn nothing. If you do not love how they think, you will hate the show and learn nothing.
