Joining me is the man I can only describe as bringing child-like, giddy energy to everything he does Kieran Mulhall, part of the Rough Cut Golf Podcast team and one of the key faces behind the content so many of us love. This one felt a little different, because when someone from the world around Peter Finch joins you for a chat, you know you’re getting a unique insight into modern golf content. Like many people, Pete has inspired me to play more golf, create content, and even start this podcast but through watching the videos and the show, it was Kieran’s infectious personality that really stood out, so I’m genuinely grateful he gave up his time for this.     Season 2 Episode 11 - Big Jim Does Golf

    Out Here Chasing Pars – Episode 50 ft. Jim (@bigjimdoesgolf) Episode 50 is here half a century of Chasing Pars! Hard to believe we’ve reached this milestone, and it felt only right to mark it with a brilliant guest in Jim. This one has been a long time coming. Between winter schedules and Jim welcoming a newborn baby, finding the right time took a while but it was absolutely worth the wait.  It’s a longer episode, so settle in and enjoy. We get into:  Jim’s unique start in golf and let’s just say, if it had happened to me, I’m not sure I’d ever pick up a 7 iron again   His current clubs, what he’s gaming now, and what changes could be coming next  With no home course to anchor him, we talk about courses far and wide and some of the places still on the wish list This episode feels a little different from the usual format more like two golf obsessed  lads chatting freely, which leads us into:  Where Jim wants his content to go  The type of content he really wants to create  Lists, debates, agreements, disagreements… and the occasional rant We also tackle some bigger golf questions:  Who are your top 5 golfers of the 21st century?  Should golf have a 5th major and where would you stage it?  Who’s your favourite golf YouTuber right now?
