    Segment 76: Wayne Mallows: Renovations and Hauntings

    TOPIC: Renovations and Hauntings Wayne will be talking about his experiences with owning a haunted manor house. and taking on a full renovation/ restoration while being gentle with the Spirit People who resided there. There is a wide belief that hauntings sometimes originate when people begin altering the home. Spirits are not always fond of change. There is the right way to proceed and the wrong way. Wayne successfully took on a 12 year restoration of the Manor House, and often with the HELP of the spirit people who once owned it! About Wayne: Wayne is the Author of the Vampyre Tales Series. He began writing when he was in grade school because he found it relaxed him, and helped him to “escape” the real world. As time went on, he was given the opportunity to teach a drama class at a local high school, to which he accepted and focused on the importance of stage presence and character building. This later led to a request that would change everything for him. He was asked to create a “believable” Vampire character, and not only did he comply, but his character went on to become his personal persona that would later thrive as the main character of the Vampyre Tales. His books have been taking vampire fans on a journey of their own, leaving a trail of rave reviews and one award thus far, and it’s only the beginning. He was also the “head vampire” for one of Canada‘s largest theme parks, for the Halloween season several years running which attracted the attention of other organizations. He was hired as a consultant, to build their theatrical haunted houses for the and Screamers in Ottawa Ontario Canada, operated by the Kiwanis was the first, then went on to become a well-known Halloween hotspot . Being non for profit, other Kiwanis divisions throughout the country have since based their Halloween haunts on the Ottawa location, and the creativity behind the origins, have come from Wayne Mallows. Wayne owned a haunted Gothic Revival Manor House for over a decade, and is no Stranger to the Paranormal He has also appeared on paranormal television, with a few honourable mentions being Paranormal Survivor S3, Paranormal Night Shift, There’s No Such Thing as Ghosts, Much Music, and more.     Segment 74 Erik Scerbak: Weather Related Hauntings

    Erik is a founder, producer, and host of ParaTruth: Reborn. With 16 years of experience within the podcast industry, he has committed himself to bringing the very best to listeners around the world. He started his podcast journey hosting and producing Nightstalkers Radio on BlogTalkRadio, which was later picked up by the Para-X Radio Network. After some careful considerations and the decision to part ways with Justin, Nightstalkers was terminated to make room for a reformed version of the show at which point Forgotten Truth was created. The show was designed to break the veil between a Christian perspective of the paranormal and the practitioners of other religions, occults, and secular thinking. An experiment to see whether the "religious", occultist and the scientist can have a fair, productive conversation about the paranormal without tearing each other down. The show had great success in bringing people together from various walks of life, proving that respecting each other's beliefs can open a door to great conversation and better an understanding of individuals. Forgotten Truth aired for one year, after which it too was terminated in order to allow Erik to pursue a dream in filmmaking. Yet, however far Erik tried to push himself away from podcasting and the paranormal, it was never far behind him. In 2014, Erik and Justin reunited to bring the very best of their experiences back to paranormal podcasting and so ParaTruth Radio (now ParaTruth: Reborn) was born. When not on-air, Erik is often found writing screenplays; working in the film and television industry on productions for HBO, Netflix and Disney; and working on digital content for PTR. He brings a Christian perspective to the show along with his knowledge in Christian studies, demonology, and the occult.
