It isn’t just that the house is full of cryptic notebooks, ominous scribblings on the wall, and has a basement that is colder than it should be. It isn’t just that Claire abruptly up and left her live-in boyfriend and is now being stalked by a psychopathic realtor. Claire is… off. As she gets closer to a secret at the heart of the old house in the Toronto neighbourhood of Parkdale, she is also getting closer to losing herself. After Claire goes missing - with the help of co-worker-turned-friend-Owen - Judith vies to track her down, even if it means diving into a history that may have been better left untouched.

22: POLLARD
POLLARD: to cut off the top and branches of (a tree) to encourage new growth at the top; a deer which has cast its antlers.
There's nothing worse than an ex who won't let go, aside from an ex who sends their friends over to your place to try to get you to stay. Wait, did I say "stay"? I meant "be attacked by eldritch nightmare beings."
It's the next morning, and the hangover is real. Like, it's real but also metaphorical. Everyone's feeling rough, but that won't stop Lydia. She waits for no one.

Alex Nursall as Judith
Emily Kellogg as Claire

23: MALISON
MALISON: (archaic) a curse.
There is a certain amount of vulnerability you need to be able to have with someone to share a bed with them, to share a space, to go out in public unapologetically. There is a certain amount of courage and foolhardiness one must have to do these things while a plume of smoke starts to waft in your direction, as the winds change and the fires come ever closer.
Judith, Claire, and Owen attempt tiny bits of normalcy while surrounded by an ever tightening ring of fire around them. The air grows thick and dark and all Judith wants is for things to be ok again (and also to have roasted fingerling potatoes). Is that so much to ask?

Emily Kellogg as Claire
Alex Nursall as Judith
Ian Boddy as Owen
Jocelyn Dotta as Lydia
Amy Bowman as Tabitha
Harlan Guthrie as Martin

24: ERE LONG
ERE LONG: (archaic) before long; soon.
Claire lets off some steam while Judith and Owen go antique shopping. What? Not everything is doom and gloom, only most things. Sometimes you just have to take a little walk and see what the day brings you (and sometimes that thing is... a singing fish? Am I reading this right? Ok, whatever).

25: TORSION
TORSION: the state of being twisted.
There are plenty of good things about your university days, but spending time in the big sterile libraries is rarely one. It's especially not great if you're perusing the occult section while someone keeps an eye on you. There are eyes in the shelves, eyes in the halls, and eyes in the house... watching, always watching.
Featuring the voices of:
Emily Kellogg as Claire
Alex Nursall as Judith
Ian Boddy as Owen
Jocelyn Dotta as Lydia
Amy Bowman as Tabitha
and Mariella Lopez as the Student

26: IRASCIBLE
IRASCIBLE: having or showing a tendency to be easily angered.
What lives in the basement of your mind? What do the voices in your head say to you in the dark? How deep do those fears go and what will you do the day you come face to face with them? You can't run. You can only listen.

Amazing
This podcast is amazing, got hooked right away, I listen to it whenever I am, brilliant podcast. I am looking forward to season three.
Season 3 sucks
All they do is talk about their feelings. It is supposed to be the end of the world/saving the world from a cult. I have been skipping over the episodes bc all they do is talk about how they are feeling like a constant group therapy session. Hardly any action, and when something weird happens they never react that freaked out. It’s like they are all high doses of meds. Then they talk about the “Maritimes” and include Labrador and “Newfoundland” in that, they can’t pronounce Newfoundland properly and also Newfoundland and Labrador are not a part of the Maritimes. There are only three maritime provinces. Seems like it was written for Millennials who do nothing but … you guessed it… talk about their feelings. First season I enjoyed, but I guess they got too into their ……feelings. I started hating all the characters and wonder why did I listen by Season 3. And Claire is never nice why do they even care about her feelings… maybe we can find out on tinder because tinder is also they only way to save the world apparently… thanks for driving me nuts s 3.
Love it!
This podcast is an excellent story acted out by great voice actors. I was left wanting more.
