I became a listener of this podcast because my teacher at VCC assigned us a big project, writing about Canada’s Indigenous peoples. Every time I listen to it, I learn something new. There were unpredictable coincidences in this podcast where Jeremy talked to a Métis man who claimed himself that he is queer and where Jeremy talked to his mother and said he would like to see her taking a vacation.

I would really appreciate it if you would add to the first episode, the true explanation of who the Metis are. There is so much misinformation and I feel like this podcast is feeding into the miss information. Otherwise, I think it’s a great premise very important to be talking about mixed indigenous identity.
