Indie icon Feist knows a thing or two about love, loss, and everything in between. Through in-depth interviews with a time travel researcher, a Dreamer and activist, a transgender triathlete, an FBI undercover operative, a monogamous couple in adult film, a professional storm-chaser, an alter ego, and more, Pleasure Studies explores big themes from the tracks of her most recent album: self-reinvention and creativity, the power of the natural world, youth, old age, wisdom, and the passing of time. We hear the stories of people who have followed their dreams, lived long lives, endured devastation, and come out the other side with a greater understanding of what it means to be alive.

Touching

I listen to a few podcasts and none have touched me the way these ones have. I completed the entire season today and I laughed, I felt inspired, I was enlightened and I even cried. In a world where we often feel so isolated it felt nice to feel somewhat connected through the stories of others. I’m looking forward to hearing a lot more.

Love this!!

Not only does Feist have a wonderful singing voice, I find her speaking voice very engaging and intimate. I’ve loved each of the episodes, particularly the one about aging. I’m 55, but feel about 25, so this episode was inspiring, and reminds me to keep living and thinking the way I have been! I wish the episodes were a wee bit longer ❤️
