I think you missed the point of the movie. Look to the title! Dylan was and remains a complete unknown. His early life, especially, remains a mystery. Any addition character depth than what was portrayed would have to have been fiction.

Love to hear the confident takes of two white guys talking about being unfulfilled after Bad Bunny’s halftime performance. Really drove home one of the most powerful parts of the show: that it wasn’t about catering to white expectations and sensibilities. Hearing reviews the next day from both lib and conservative white guys who were disappointed because it didn’t do what they were expecting and hearing how much the show did not impact them honestly drove home the power of the show. This wasn’t about you, and the hosts didn’t think to pull in or include anyone in their analysis who could help them see that. 5/5 stars.
