Andrew Kirkpatrick is a British mountaineer, award-winning author and film-maker, TV and movie safety advisor, and monologist. He is best known as a big wall climber, having scaled Yosemite's El Capitan 30+ times, including five solo ascents, and two one day ascents, as well as climbing in Patagonia, Alaska, Africa and Antarctica. He has also crossed Greenland by ski and sailed down Willy Wonka's chocolate river with Johnny Depp. The Psycho Vertical podcasts cover everything from climbing mountains and mental health, to making a living as a creative and overcoming the hurdles of life.

Andy is a quirky guy with loads of non climbing related talk that doesn’t really make sense to me. HOWEVER, this guy knows climbing and what’s more he cares to share his immense amount of experience with the rest of us (not sure why. Maybe he wants us to like him or something rubbish like that). This is an amazing podcast, even if you don’t share Andy’s sense of humour. Listen to it. It might save your life, it will make you a better climber.

Excellent podcast focused on experience. A breath of fresh air in this chasing number, energy drink product placement era. Andy’s mind is like a pinball going left and right, he sure knows how to make a short story long.
