Hey Jeff I’m an employee of Accor Hotels based in Calgary. Accor is the management company that owns the Fairmont brand. The fire did reach the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, however it did not destroy the resort. It did take some structures, not all lost.

Love this show and really look forward to it each Friday. Jeff & Julie have a comical view of their trials and tribulations of moving to France while the world was under lockdown. With the pandemic over, J&J relive what it’s like adjusting to life in a rural town in south/west France in a very humorous way. They do a wonderful job explaining the scenery and different customs while travelling to numerous beautiful locations throughout France. I had no interest in this region of France before joining Jeff & Julie on their weekly stories, but am anxious to travel there now. Thank you! Dave
