    New Beverly Calendar: November, 2022

    New Beverly Calendar: November, 2022

This November at the New Beverly, we are celebrating the release of Quentin Tarantino’s new book, Cinema Speculation - a work of film criticism, film theory, and personal history. As such, many of this months double features (as discussed by Brian, Elric and Phil) tie directly into chapters and mentions in the book itself. Tune in to hear them talk a little about how much they enjoyed the book and (without spoiling too much of its contents) some of what's in store for you when you read it.

The walking cold into the movie

Amazing camaraderie of them all in every episode.

About ep 11- my friend called me:
“We’re going to a movie. We will pick you up in 5. Ware a black trench coat and black clothes. “
We saw the matrix. Talk about going in cold!

Incredible podcast

Great podcast that honestly revamped my relationship with movies. Instead of just watching ‘good’ movies or just watching films I know I’ll like, I’ve tried so many new things and appreciated the experience. Sweet, sincere hosts with wild amounts of film knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. Joe Dante and Phil Blankenship episodes are my favourites. I’d love to hear a kanopy themed episode!
