Remaster

This is my favourite gaming podcast. The hosts have a good mix of industry insight and fandom. They aren't shy about their opinions, but they're also not brash and angry like so many other gaming fans.

I really like the episodes where Shahid explains the industry and answers the questions of Myke and Federico.

Relay FM has another hit on their hands with the recent launch of Remaster, their new podcast focusing on video games. Remaster, which is replacing Relay FM's previous video game focused podcast Virtual, features the previous hosts, Federico Vittici and Myke Hurley, with the addition of a new voice, 30-year video game industry veteran and former Sony PlayStation employee Shahid Kamal Ahmad. The name of the show is perfect considering that thus far the show feels a lot like it is Virtual: Remastered as it appears that the hosts will be discussing the same topics as Virtual (the games the hosts are playing, gaming news and culture, and the video game industry), with the added bonus of discussion relating to the process of creating video games as Shahid, who has previously developed his own games, returns to the world of video game development as an independent developer. I am really stoked and eager to listen to future episodes of Remaster, I can't wait to hear what the hosts will be talking about. I highly recommend you listen to Remaster if you're into video games, the industry and indie development; you won't be disappointed.
