My name is Krista Kalinowski, host of the Rest and Remain podcast and I am on mission to come alongside women and show them how to build healthy rhythms of rest in their lives and encouraging them to remain secure in their walk with Christ. We live in a world that is always on and rest isn’t something we come by easily; in some ways it almost feels like if we don’t force it then we won’t have it. God is teaching me that this rest is found in Him alone and we can remain in this place of rest no matter what is happening in our lives as long as we keep walking hand in hand with Jesus.  My hope and prayer with each of these episodes is to draw us back to the heart of God and help us embrace our quiet calm in Him as we live in a chaotic world.

In this episode we will be talking about our thought life and how we can begin taking control over what goes on in our minds in order to keep ourselves focused on what is true.  I share a personal experience of when I was a teenager and my thought’s were fixed on the right things and I filled my mind with words that drew me away from God, instead of closer. This was a pretty dark season of my life, but thankfully by the grace of God He rescued me and I’m humbled to be able to share this with you. We’ll also talk about 5 practical ways you can begin controlling the thoughts that fill your mind according to what the Bible says. From navigating personal trials and spiritual growth to homeschooling my two boys and discovering God’s perfect timing in my work, I share how the Rest and Remain Ministry was born and why it’s rooted in helping others find peace in God’s presence. Through this podcast, I aim to draw women back to the heart of God, equipping them to live in His rest and remain steadfast in a busy, chaotic world. Each episode will explore themes of faith, surrender, and living with an unshakable trust in Jesus.
