Anyone can write a riff, but what makes a good riff? Each week, riff disciples Austin Paulson, Dylan Adams, & Justin Swindle attempt to answer this question by discussing their favorite riffs, how they came to be, and why we still worship them today.

Throughout the history of hardcore punk, cover songs have served as a bridge between eras by introducing new generations to the tracks that built the genre as it continues to evolve and reach new heights. These values are perfectly expressed on Flexi Your Head, a limited postcard flexi from the seminal California hardcore band Punch. Recorded live to tape in 2011 by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Gouge Away, Oathbreaker), this release features a chaotic, high-energy medley of hardcore essentials.
