Great treatment for COVID
Got COVID around New Years, and started spending whatever time I wasn't sleeping listening to this podcast. It's interesting and hilarious enough that it managed to distract me from how truly terrible I felt! Thanks, Rob and Jamie!
EDIT (because iTunes apparently only lets you leave one review): I especially enjoyed in the S2 when they’re covering the Byzantine Romans and Rob often does research not just into the Byzantine sources, or just Holy Roman Empire sources, but they cover Caliphate sources as well, giving it a more clear and possibly honest view of what was going on. Still love this show all around, even though I’m doing a bit better from the COVID— only mild long covid symptoms that this podcast still works as a treatment for (I am not a doctor)

Rob and Jamie make listening to history fun and entertaining! Information is presented in a way that is easy to follow — a must when talking about Roman history as it can get quite confusing. They insert their own comedic spin into the story all while staying true to the history of it all . Definitely recommend , I’m currently binging it all from the beginning and the episodes just fly by!

Rob with the amazing story telling, research and wit. Jamie with the jokes, commentary and love for the crazy. Both of them feed off one another’s energy which makes it flow so well. SO LOOK NO further, start this podcast. And while your at it. Denounce the other Jeffstorian. I’m like The Livy, The The Gibbon…. THE PSELLOS!! That man is like Pliny or Cordus!! Ahem. 5 Stars Lads.
