I just started on my financial journey and this podcast could not have been launched at a better time. It’s so refreshing to hear women in situations like mine, with financial worries and goals like mine, working through it and getting advice. Young, professional, urban women who are trying to sort this money thing out. I’m also enjoying the solid production and mixing. The closest thing I have to a qualm is that the show is VERY American (so not all that tax/health care advice lines up. The idea of saving for a medical bill sounds insane!) It’s also quite New York... but it’s early days and I imagine they’ll expand, at least to other parts of the States. And even if they don’t, the stories are interesting and you can take the advice that applies to you and leave the rest. Definitely recommend! Update: Still really enjoying the show but the guests at the beginning of the season had more range, now they’re erring rich. Or in debt but still privileged. More diversity in backgrounds and financial issues needed! Also... feed drops aren’t cool, especially without warning in the intro.
Important Podcast
2019-11-13
Love listening to this podcast every week. It covers such important content that people often don’t talk about.
Not relatable
2019-12-13
The people on the podcast are “lost” even though they make way more money than average (in one episode $85,000 is considered a pitiful salary, more recently a couple brings in $20,000 a month) and have comfortable savings and sometimes their houses paid off on top of everything. So if you’re starting out on your financial journey there isn’t much to learn from this podcast.
