Both of your friendly neighborhood hosts had trips since last we convened.  These are discussed.  Find out about Stephe in Tennessee and Bruce in Costa Rica. Then we hopped right into the meat of this week's episode. Bruce came up with an idea.  Think "F*ck, Marry, Kill" but with the entire MCU catalog to choose from.  No we're not getting carnal or betrothed.  Instead we Keep one property exactly as is.  We Delete on from existence in its entirety and we Change one to better suit our nerd ideals. I can promise no duplicate choices were made. There is some extra nerdy discussion of things we didn't choose and why.  We get off on a tangent trying to take Nick Fury from WWII all the way to the early days of SHIELD in the swinging sixties. That one yields some very fun results. Stephe talks briefly about Dungeon Crawler Carl. (hint - he hasn't started it yet) He hasn't watched Daredevil:  Born Again either. Bruce goes into a deep dive on Chuck Dixon's Levon series, the source material for last year's A Working Man. And, of course, we play "What's on Your Desk?"     (Originally recorded 03.25.26) Sponsored, in part, by painter's tape It's Opening Day of the 2026 MLB season, so we decided this would be our annual baseball show. And, I mean we jumped right into it. First up?  How about a deep dive on the new teams and/or logos for Copa de la Diversion? What to do after a lengthy dissection of secondary minor league team logos? How about: Revisiting our professional baseball relegation idea to reset it for the new season.  That's a good thing for the Nashville Sounds.  Less so for the Colorado Rockies. Bruce updates his Jason Statham journey. Paying the bills Picking project names The Grateful Dead Cacophonous jams The bawdy court Stephe finally sees Sinners Trolling Skeeter And, of course, we finished up with a round of "What's on Your Desk?"

How about Stephe's opening gambit:  a work story that ultimately involves FBI participation. Bruce, on his way back from the aforementioned funeral, stopped in Lafayette, Louisiana, the origin point of your hosting duo.  He had some thoughts. What else?     Does That Make Captain Stubing God?

    Originally recorded 02.05.26 Well, we did it!  We made it to 100. A full C-Note of Bruce and Stephe rambling about things X and geeky. And, tonight, on our very special DOUBLE SIZED centennial episode, we finally land our white whale. We finally have the up-and-coming HUNTER ROBERTS on the show. Hunter gladly explains Taylor Swift to us in a manner we can understand. We talk Oscars. We talk Scream. We talk Disney After Dark. We talk the art and science of stand up comedy. Hell, we even talk Love Boat with a millennial.  He gets us. Of course, we play what's on your desk.  Hunter has lots to contribute. Just in case you were wondering, there is, in fact, MORE Eternals talk. Strap in, this is a good one.

    (Originally recorded 12/17/25) It's our last podcast of 2025 and its a big one. Episode 99! Our first episode of 2026 will be #100. But before we get to that milestone, we've got a full show for you tonight. We discuss: Stephe's mail issues The problem with Twitter (or as Bruce calls it TwiX) Elon Musk Getting the wrong message from The Terminator Stephe has finally seen Superman.  We discuss Is Bruce a pop culture sexist? Chicken Devil or is it Devil Chicken? Fun with Zoom calls The death of Rob Reiner Stephe's War over WaWa Bruce plugged his radio show on KWVH.     Deconstructing The Christmas Contract

    (Originally recorded 11/19/25) This was the only episode of November.  This time it was by design. Bruce opened the show by talking briefly about the Kurt Busiek/George Perez run on the Avengers.  Yeah, 20+ year old comic book talk. Then we discussed the Tovala cooking system. What'else? How about: Trying to figure out how many times Stephe has broken his nose Cooking with the boys Funko financials Gamestop's trade in day But we spent the majority of the podcast on what can only be considered a fools' errand. We both watched and discussed the 2018 Lifetime Christmas movie, The Christmas Contract. It was filmed in and around Lafayette, Louisiana so we thought we would be okay. Oh, the things we do for this show. We ended things with a rousing round of "What's on Your Desk?" But it just wasn't enough to get rid of the Lifetime stench.

    (Originally recorded 10/30/25) Hey, we actually got three episodes in this month.  Good for us! This episode's burning question is whether or not Stephe washed his hair today. He did assist with a 9-1-1 call at his office.  He's a hero. Bruce turned that moving story into a reason to start popping of Ric Flair quotes. We discussed the World Series.  This was right after the 18 inning game in the 2025 Series for the sake of posterity. You're welcome posterity. There's a brief conversation about the Panama Jack craze that swept Lafayette, Louisiana in the early 80s because Bruce was wearing a Panama Jack shirt. We then, once again, get on a Smokey and the Bandit riff.  That movie was apparently far more instrumental in our lives than we knew. What if Big Enos ran Fantasy Island? All I wrote was JD Vance so this must be the political portion of the show. Bruce proposed that Arch Manning should have registered as Chad Powers at UT. What else? These things: Jack Tracker Night Court:  SVU Rob Zombie Busty's We Both Hate Pumpkin Carving Can we get gutless pumpkins? And, of course, there was a round of "What's on Your Desk?"

    (Originally recorded 10/15/25) On this episode we celebrate Stephe's birthday. How do we celebrate it? Well, we celebrate by Bruce ranting against a number of pop culture topics. Which ones? How about James Gunn and Grant Morrison? Those big enough targets for you? Stephe finally saw Superman so we talk about that.  Ties in to the whole James Gunn of it all. We discuss ways to get Joey Breaux out of our social feeds. Bruce recommends King of Spies by Mark Millar. Then we go into a lengthy discussion of Stephe's recent 40th high school reunion even though he didn't attend. It's the SlurpToast way. And, of course, we played "What's on Your Desk?"
