    Cameron and Pom: In Defense of Loving Your Dog This Much

    We released this episode on Valentine's Day on purpose because it captures love at its most honest. Cameron spent her life chasing a dream job in marine mammal care, only to realize that achieving it was taking a serious toll on her health. As she worked to untangle her identity from her work, a new dog tippy-tapped into her life and became an unlikely anchor, offering presence, steadiness, and a kind of support she had never expected or experienced.  Cameron reflects on being understood without words, what animals can teach us about care and communication, and why some of the most sustaining relationships in our lives might cross species.
