Introducing: Lost Hills
After 35-year-old scientist Tristan Beaudette is murdered in front of his two young daughters, other victims come forward telling similar tales of a sniper in Malibu who has been shooting at campers and at moving cars for the past 18 months. Always in the dark of night, at 4AM.
The cops say they can’t connect the crimes, but then they arrest a drifter: 42-year-old Anthony Rauda, who lives under a tarp behind the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station. Rauda insists he's being framed. Is he the killer, or a scapegoat?"

118: The Murder of Olivia Browning
In late November of 1989, the burning body of a 33 year old woman was found in a wooded area in the Mississippi Delta. Olivia Browning was the ex-wife of a prominent planter’s son named Ralph Hand III. Local gossips said that though Ralph and Olivia divorced, they had a passionate but toxic relationship and couldn’t stay away from each other.
After Ralph confessed, and the media gushed about this southern gothic soap opera, to the detriment of Olivia’s character. Did public perception as well as the Hand family’s political connections influence the justice Olivia’s family received?

Introducing MAN-Slaughter from Wondery
MAN-Slaughter tells intertwining stories about how one gunshot on a cold Wisconsin night in
1970 dramatically changed multiple lives. A bullet brutally tore through decorated law
enforcement veteran LaVerne Stordock. Decades later, his niece, Dorothy Marcic, transformed
herself into an amateur detective in a quest for truth and closure about that night.
At the center of Dorothy’s investigation is Suzanne Brandon, LaVerne’s second wife, who confessed to the shooting -- and who Dorothy believes completely escaped justice. As it follows Dorothy’s discoveries, MAN-Slaughter explores questions around the psychology of crime, the ways women are made responsible in families, and the lasting impact of trauma.
A final encounter between Suzanne and Dorothy reveals a complex connection that even that
gunshot cannot shatter.

116: The Richmond Spree Killers
For seven days after the New Year, in 2006, Richmond, Virginia was terrorized by spree killers. Two whole families were killed with no apparent motive other than robbery. But the gruesome murders didn’t seem to match that motive. Who would murder little children for some jewelry and cash? What kind of killer is capable of that?

Southern Fried soothes my soul
Forever one of my top favourites. Erica relates cases in the perfect balance of factuality and emotion. Not to mention, the second her soft accent hits my ears, I forget about my troubles. Can’t recommend enough.
Best
Best true crime podcast anywhere, by far
Love it but...
If there is a shocking detail that has been released, I’d rather not hear about it at all than have my curiosity peaked and no answers. ThT just drives me absolutely nuts. DONT TELL ME THERE ARE WILD, SHOCKING, UNBELIEVABLE DETAILS OUT THERE IF YOU WONT TELL ME WHAT THEY ARE AND HOW TO FIND THEM. Just leave it out. Because half of the listeners are going to find the info you didn’t think should be public, and you directed them to do so by mentioning it.
