    #140 The Keddie Cabin Murders

    #140 The Keddie Cabin Murders

Keddie, California, a town that hosted a population of less than 100 people, would be devastated in the spring of 1981 when the brutal murders of three individuals and the abduction of a fourth would occur at the Keddie Resort’s Cabin 28. On April 12th, 1981, 14 year old Sheila Sharp, walked in the front door of the small cabin, and was met with the bound, bloodied bodies of her mother, her brother and her brother's friend, her only sister Tina, was missing.
The violent murders and the abduction of Tina Sharp would set off an unfortunately confusing  investigation that is still ongoing. Officially being dubbed “The Keddie Cabin Murders”, the truth of what happened to the Sharp family all those years ago, is something that continues to frustrate and elude police even today.

#139 The Summer of Terror: When Sharks Broke Bad

#139 The Summer of Terror: When Sharks Broke Bad

In 1975, Steven Spielberg shocked audiences when he promised them they would “never go in the water again!” But with the release of the hit film “Jaws”, beach lovers around the world, did just that. But the real life events that inspired the Horror classic… were not only more terrifying, but even more gruesome than Spielberg could have imagined. Well, we hope you're not going swimming soon, because today we’re talking about the 1916 Jersey Shore Shark Attacks that not only inspired the movie“JAWS”.. But also changed the way we think about Sharks.. Forever…..probably.... we obviously don't know the future.

George Reeves was the man who brought the titular “man of steel” character off of the comic book page and onto the silver screen in the early 1950s. But unlike his kryptonion counterpart, George Reeves life was tragically cut short in 1959 by what has been officially labeled “a suicide”. But, things may not be as they seem, and sometimes, the “official” reports, can often lead to more questions than answers. Join me today while we dive into the conspiracies around the tragic “Death of Superman”, George Reeves.

Perfect

Perfect blend of seriousness and comedy while still so respectful to the victims. Even if this podcast was mediocre, I'd listen just for the Lorne's Synopsis song. It is the best song I've ever heard in my life.
