    Assessing driving fitness in seniors

In this episode of Team Talks, Lynette Smith, Program Manager, Patient Medical Home, is joined by Dr. Tina Hoang, Medical Lead for the PCN’s Extended Health Team, to discuss senior’s driving medical testing.  Albertans are aging — by 2051, one in five will be 65 or older. The provincial government requires regular medical exams for senior drivers starting at age 75, so PCN members can expect to be medically assessing seniors for driving capability — and having more conversations about driving with patients.
