A new report links long time use of Cialis to blindness, of course it does.   Next Brian dives in to a research study he recently conducted with some very fascinating outcomes and discoveries.   Not a lot of tech news going on, but we did learn from a leak that Apple will be launching Air Pods with cameras in 2027. And 9 to 5 Mac already claims Apple Camera Pods will make Meta Frames look reckless.   Thanks to a leak in the Mac latest software update, we got a sneak peak of Apple's upcoming product line. We discuss which rumored products excite us.   We discuss that Apple has changed the way the App Store will work in the EU, but we could care less about the EU and are discussing this topic for another reason.   Will you trust ChatGPT's Mac app to access your iMessages?   Brian then discusses his latest project building work while Clauding, which then leads to us discussing the dumbass decision by anthropic to add watermarks to Claude projects. On a related note it took Coders a whole four hours to create a hack to get rid of the watermarking, hopefully us blind creatives can use it.   With all the mass hysteria to the Meta Frames basically all media created, Brian did a deep dive in to other technologies that supposedly caused mass hysteria in years past. We start off reviewing the panic that arose way back in 2003 and 2004 over the arrival of cameras on phones. And back in the first days when cameras came to phones, a Congressman from the silly state of Ohio drew up Legislation to ban all phones on government properties including National Parks!   Then of course there is the forgotten War on the walkman.   Brian then dives in to the Top 8 technologies and other things throughout history that terrified people when they were first created or introduced to society. Included in the Top 8 are the arrival of the Eiffel Tower, another one includes the Fonograph would ruin vocal cords, and the number one by a large margin fear mongering is how the Teddy Bear will lead to the end of the human race.     Episode 211 - Bad app Store connect, Bad app Store connect

    It's an all new That Real Blind Tech show with the old school gang of Allison, Brian, Ed, and Jeanine.   Since most of you come to That Real Blind Tech Show for your scientific news, we kick the show off discussing the most interesting and strangest theory on how life on this place called Earth began.   Boy the Japanese sure can innovate as they are now selling human refrigerators because it is so damn hot everywhere.   If there's an app for it, then it must mean the paranoia is real, introducing the Anti-Zuck Bluetooth sniffer app. Some how the old Sham wow infomercial comes up, and if you are like us and wondering what ever happened to the Sham wow Guy watch this YouTube clip about him.   Do we now need a Tick Tock for Dummies, or is that just called Tick Tock? Tick Tock videos are advising people to put their phones in the fridge when they heat up.   Would you take $50 bucks to let an A.I. start up read your mind to train their A.I.?   Jeanine then gives us her recap of this year's ACB Conference.   Then A special quick version of the Blind Feud pops in, asking what is Arizona State the first University in the country to now be offering a major in?   It's then on to Clauding where Brian gets some feedback on his new favorite jingle on the show, and then discusses his experiences with the submission of the That Real Blind Tech show app and App Store Connect. It has not been a good experience.   Allison then discusses the excitement behind launching her first project in to GitHub the Accessible Virtual Machine. She discusses the work behind it, the feedback, and the feeling of empowerment upon launching it all. Sorry for no link to the project as the link Allison provided us did not work, so reach out to her if you want to get it.   Brian then discusses rebuilding his personal website from the ground up. His website had not been updated in 12 years, and he previously had to pay people to update his website for him, you can check out the new site here.   Jeanine then lets us know what she has been up to with Clauding.   And even though Brian claimed he was not going to build until he got past the App Store Connect nightmarish process, he lied to you and himself, as he introduces the latest project he is working on, and of course, he built a little jingle for it as well.   OpenAI announced they will be coming out with a ChatGPT speaker.     Episode 210 - Vomitous Interruptous

    It's an all new that Real Blind Tech show with Allison, Brian, and David discussing the latest news in tech that is important to the blind and low vision.   We kick this episode off with a series of announcements. The biggest being the all new That Real Blind Tech Show iOS app, which as of this release is still awaiting approval from Apple to be released. So much for that 48 hour that Apple claims 90% of apps get approved in. It should be released any day in the next week.   Brian discusses some of the fun he had when posting the app for approval to Apple's App Store Connect, while it is accessible the usability could be massively improved.   Our next announcement is that Laugh For Sight will be returning for our 19th year at Gotham Comedy club on Monday, October 26, 26, NYC. This year we will be donating all proceeds to InTandem and the Seeing Eye. This is similar to what Brian has been dealing with now for 7 months.   You can now recover access to your Google account with a Selfie video.   The way we have purchased iPhones is about to change, as Apple is moving to leasing iPhones, and if you miss a payment, Apple will be able to deactivate your phone, yeah, nothing could go wrong here!   We then dive in to Clauding as Brian and Allison discuss the states of their latest projects, we ask David if he has taken the dive yet, and we discuss some of our frustrations with Claude Van Damme.     Episode 209 - Half Burp, Half Laugh For the Blind

    It's an all new That Real Blind Tech show as Brian, David, Ed, and Jeanine gather around the campfire to discuss some tech and the resolutions from this year's National Federation of the Blind or For the Blind conference.   We kick the show off with a little homage to the village People, because what blind tech show wouldn't?   Brian then tells a bizarre encounter he had on the streets of New York City.   Brian then gets in to his latest travel adventures and a couple of fun stories from the cruise he just got back from. Everybody then discusses their Fourth of July celebrations.   And a quick round of that Real Blind Feud pops up. Question, What is New York State the first to ban?   Be My eyes announced they are finally coming to the Mac Desktop, but as our man on the ground at the NFB Conference David tells us, the announcement of all this went a little off the rails.   Meta is rumored to be working on a pair of Smart Glasses that will be recording all the time.   We then discuss our latest work with our Claude projects. Brian discusses where he is at with his Baseball SIM game and That Real Movie quiz.     Episode 208 - Demo of Claude in Action, xCode, and Terminal Making the Baseball SIM and That Real Movie Quiz iOS Game

    It's an all new That Real Blind Tech Show with Brian once again flying solo as he walks you through VibeCoding. Even if you think VibeCoding is not for you, stick around and give it a listen, as you will be amazed at how simple it really is.   Brian will walk you through working with Claude to build actual real life web based and iOS apps, Xcode, Terminal, and demo part of his web based Baseball SIM and iOS That Real Movie Quiz game.   The first thing Brian walks you through is some of his work in Claude with his Baseball SIM. You will see how he talks to Claude and the responses he receives.   After walking you through some prompting to Claude and its responses on fixes to his project, Brian then walks you through the main menu structure of his Baseball SIM game. Then he walks you through the Dashboard to the game. This is where a lot of the fun is located. Brian SIMS a game and shows you the box score for that game, where the Yankees win, Yankees win!   Then you will get to see or hear some real gameplay with the announcer in action.   After the Baseball SIM demo, Brian begins discussing the Movie Jeopardy game now called That Real Movie Quiz game he is creating. The game is in very early Test Flight stage with a working prototype.   First thing Brian walks you through is some more prompting with Claude, but this time he is recording all of his work in real time. Claude leads Brian through some file replacements which then leads him in to Xcode.   Brian then fires up That Real Movie quiz on his iPhone, but runs in to an issue where there are only two categories on the Board. Not to worry, as running in to issues is part of working, designing, and developing with Claude.   Brian then takes a break, and gets back in to it all the next day and describes what went wrong with his That Real Movie Quiz iOS game.       Then it is back to Claude to find out what caused this issue in the latest build of the game.   Off the air, Brian made the necessary fixes to That Real Movie Quiz, and he then demos the current final product on his iPhone.                       That Real Movie Quiz is now in early beta testing, and if you would like to test out the app through Test flight on your iPhone, shoot us in an email to ThatRealBlindTechShow@gmail.com, and we will get back to you, or Brian will get back to you, or an unfired intern will get back to you.     Episode 207 - Special Report: The VibeCoding episode

    It's an all new That Real Blind Tech Show, and a different kind of episode as Allison, Brian, and Jeanine get together for a Special Report on VibeCoding. What's the old saying? If you can't beat them, join them.   We kick the conversation off discussing when we first learned about VibeCoding.   We discuss our first experiences with VibeCoding when we sat down at the computer and typed that first prompt to Claude.   We go in to the difference between a chat and a project on Claude, and why you may choose to use a project.   We then discuss issues we have had when working on a project and how we got around the issues.   We then dive in to some of the projects we are working on and some of the upcoming projects we would like to begin working on.     Episode 206 - WWDC26 Recap, See What You see and Introducing StudHub

    It's an all new That Real Blind Tech show as Allison, Brian, and David are here to discuss this year's WWDC in a way that no other Blind Tech Show can.   The show kicks off discussing some of the crazy happenings in New York City and it is only going to get crazier as the 250th comes the weekend of July 4th. Strange things have been afoot in the New York City sewer system!   We then give you a quick preview about our next episode which will be all about VibeCoding.   All of the FIFA World Cup games will air with an audio described track through the Fifa app.   We then dive in to our WWDC26 recap and no big surprise as the keynote was almost entirely about Apple Intelligence. Take two for Apple as they introduce Siri A.I. A stand alone Siri app will be coming to your devices.
