Triggers & How they Help Us Grow, Evolve & Flourish!

Triggers & How they Help Us Grow, Evolve & Flourish!

Has someone ever triggered you? So much so that it feels like there is smoke coming out of your nostrils in a fiery rage? SAME. Isn't it a joyful feeling? Naw.
Why do triggers exist though? For fun? I don't think so. Triggers are a lesson, people are in our lives purposefully to help us see ourselves and to grow to our fullest potential, as we do for them in return for their triggers. How we respond, and look inward at our triggers vs projecting and looking outward is a true indicator of our willingness, to grow, learn, and evolve.
In this weeks episode I discuss my recent vacation, and how it triggered the heck out of me. Have I made it out onto the other side? You will have to listen to find out!

Ego, Social Media and a Divided World

Ego, Social Media and a Divided World

It's a weird world we live in, where everyone is plugging in to technology to connect, judging and compartmentalizing friendships, families and circles due to peoples individual choices during a global pandemic, and the amount of likes, views, and followers is a determining factor of status and self validation. I think I may have been born in the wrong generation. Very little of this way of living is relatable to me, and I am here to call out how I truly feel about all of this, in hopes that we can come together, not tear apart! Let's go back to simpler times!

I did Shrooms for the first time for Spiritual and Mental Health Breakthroughs...

I did Shrooms for the first time for Spiritual and Mental Health Breakthroughs...

I haven't even smoked weed, or touched a cigarette, or done a drug. So I thought WHY NOT just jump right into trying shrooms...

Now I will be honest, I have always been the last person I know to touch a drug. However, recently I have been further educated on the benefits to mental health and spiritual breakthroughs if shrooms are used in the right way, setting, and guided. I asked my boyfriend Michael to be my guide through my experience which I pursued with the intention to conquer my fear, and anxiety, and to be grateful for the journey that I was meant to have.

What it's Like to Date a Narcissist

What it's Like to Date a Narcissist

Have you ever been in an abusive relationship? Me too. For the first time in my 30's I experienced trauma. Mrs. Happy-go-lucky, was not so happy anymore; culture-shocked into a new and devastating scenario that would rock my world.

On this weekends episode, I get personal; real personal. I have to say, this is my favorite episode yet. It took me weeks to find the words, and to finally put them into a recording, but after living on the other side of my comfort zone, I am finally able to articulate my story; the unhappy, yet defining chapter in my life. Welcome to my personal journey on 'What it's like to date a Narcissist."

Amazing!

I listened to What it’s Like to Date a Narcissist and it was my first time listening to Brittany. I was blown away. After getting out of an abusive, narcissistic relationship a year ago, I have been having trouble putting my thoughts and words together to fully express the terror, the sadness, the self-doubt etc that I was feeling. Even with the 10 counselling sessions that were provided to me by Victim Services, I don’t feel I was able to put the right words together. This podcast had me in tears in the first three minutes and throughout the entire podcast. Brittany had the words that I couldn’t find, and it was so relatable to my experience (minus the physical abuse I suffered). Her podcast reminded me of things I’d forgotten, or, pushed away deep inside of me. I can’t wait to see what she has next! I highly recommend this podcast for those who are unsure or know they are involved with a narcissist.
