Another terrible air quality day in effect as wildfires continue to burn across Quebec and Northern Ontario. John Moore has the latest on the situation, plus how Canada is experiencing a rash of car thefts, a dog killed by police, parachuting soldiers in Toronto, and golf tournament rivals bury the hatchet.

Congratulations to everyone celebrating a birthday today. Don't feel left out with all the talk about how being born on June 5 is so nice. John Moore looks at cell service coming to the TTC, Corrections Canada's spin over Paul Bernardo's transfer, Pride getting federal funding, power issues in the province, and what comes next for Ontario Place.

The Breakfast Wrap - It's like a heat wave. Burning in my heart.

The weather experts will pedantically point out you need THREE days of abnormally high temps to declare a heat wave. But this is a podcast, not a science classroom. John Moore listens in as the mayoral candidates turn their fire at the front runner, fans boo a controversial Jays player, police catch a kid responsible for shooting off fireworks on a bus, and the latest from Halifax.

The Breakfast Wrap - It's loud, smoky, and hot. Best to stay under the covers.

The Breakfast Wrap - It's loud, smoky, and hot. Best to stay under the covers.

Fireworks on the TTC, free crack pipes, loud cars passing by. Is this what is giving residents a sense of disorder in the city? John Moore looks at the issues ahead of another mayors debate. Plus: a rise in hate across Ontario, more deaths linked to one Mississauga man, a Blue Jays player says sorry, and knocked out by cheese.

John Moore is awesome

Probably the only political commentator worth listening to - identifying as a centrist (I think) John rightfully assesses all the top issues from all sides of the political spectrum and has analysts routinely provide expert opinions.

I’ve been a fan since 2012, and in the early days of COVID this show had Dr. Mitch Shoman providing daily updates which really helped to keep me and my family informed of the latest developments. Great work on the Moore in the Morning show - looking forward to the podcast.
