It starts off badly with poor writing and acting. The constant sarcasm grates, and the clichés come thick and fast.
Once you get past the first few series, it all tightens up, and becomes a genuine delight. I’d recommend it to anyone that likes radio theatre!

The dry British humour of Byron is part of what keeps me coming back. The Byron Chronicles is a great journey through mysticism, warped historical references, and masterful story crafting.
An exercise in contrasts.

I think the plot lines in this story are good, and the main character is fairly well drawn and acted. What turns me off, however, is the author’s tendency to cast himself and his family members in lesser roles. Guys, voice acting is best left to people with acting talent. Your talents clearly lie elsewhere. The stark contrast between your skill and the main actor’s is jarring. Please stop.
