The Breastplate of Righteousness: How to Expect the Impossible (Jan 15th, 2025 Bible Study)

In this powerful opening series on righteousness, Pastor Jim digs into one of the most foundational — and most misunderstood — truths in the New Testament: righteousness is not just a doctrine, it's a Person. Drawing from Isaiah 45:8, Luke 1, 2 Corinthians 5:21, and Ephesians 6, Pastor Jim unpacks what it means to be made the righteousness of God in Christ — and why that identity is the key to answered prayer, supernatural healing, and walking in genuine faith every single day. In this message: Why righteousness is the foundation you can't build without The difference between Old Testament and New Testament righteousness What the breastplate of righteousness actually protects — and why it matters in the pressure moments Did Jesus operate on Earth as God, or as a man in right standing with God? The Holy Spirit & the Gifts: What Jesus Actually Said (May 14th, 2026 International Leadership Training)

In this foundational Bible study, Pastor Jim unpacks the ministry of the Holy Spirit — starting with the question: how did Jesus actually operate in power? From Luke 4 to Acts 1, we trace Jesus' journey from baptism in the Holy Spirit to His 40 days in the wilderness, and discover why that wilderness experience was the foundation of His entire ministry. What Jesus learned there — to listen to and trust the Holy Spirit — is the same foundation you need for yours. In this session: Why Jesus did no miracle before being filled with the Holy Spirit — and what that means for you The difference between exousia (the right to use power) and dunamis (explosive power) — and how you carry both What the Holy Spirit is actually here to do in your life (hint: it's not to beat you up) Rivers of living water — what Jesus really meant, and why it's bigger than you think A first-hand miracle: a man with two canes walks free in a small Saskatchewan town — and his wife, a practicing witch, gives her life to Jesus Scriptures covered: Luke 3:22 | Luke 4:1, 14, 18–19 | Luke 12:30–32 | John 7:37–39 | John 14:16–17, 26 | John 15:26 | John 16 | Acts 1:4–8 | Ephesians 1:17–23 This is Part 1 of an ongoing series on the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit. Blockers to Your 100 Fold Harvest (April 29th, 2026 Bible Study)

Drawing from Luke 8 (the Parable of the Sower) and Colossians 1, this teaching walks through the four types of soil as a framework for self-examination — not to produce guilt, but to inspire transformation. The central message: repentance means changing your mind, not just your emotions. God wants to renew how you think about yourself, His provision, and His goodness — because a hard, rocky, or thorny heart will rob you of the harvest He has for you. Using vivid farming analogies (rock-picking, rod-weeders, tilling fallow ground) and personal stories — including a miraculous pair of Adidas shoes, a car given in prayer, and a Saskatchewan farmer who literally produced 100 bushels to the acre after prayer — Jim illustrates how renewing your mind with Scripture removes the "rocks and weeds" that block 100-fold living. The study closes with 3 John 1:2, affirming that God desires His people to prosper and be in health, and challenges believers to let their light shine by sharing what God is doing in their lives. You Don't Talk to God About Your Mountain (April 9th, 2026 International Leadership Training)

This is a training session on prayer as the final "weapon of righteousness" in a seven-part series. Jim opens by noting the personal significance of the date — April 9th, 1978 was the day he gave his heart to Jesus. The core teaching draws from John 16:23–24, where Jesus tells the disciples they can ask anything of the Father in his name and receive it. Jim challenges the idea that God "didn't really mean it," arguing that those who water down such promises have created a culture of prayerless, faithless Christianity. He cites George Mueller as a model of someone who prayed with total conviction in God's will, and encourages listeners to pray with that same confident, conversational approach — talking to God like he is actually listening. A fellow leader, Pastor Doug, joins to share testimony of believing God for a church building through written petitions and declarations, and of receiving a 2011 F-150 Lariat after sowing a seed three years prior. The session emphasizes that prayer isn't a one-time event but a lifestyle, referencing Smith Wigglesworth and Brother Andrew as examples. It closes with a call to self-examination (Luke 18:8 — "will the Son of Man find faith on the earth?") and a prophetic charge to let this Easter mark a fresh revelation of prayer. Confidence in the Anointing (April 15th, 2026 Bible Study)

Tonight Jim is teaching primarily from Luke 6, with references to Luke 7 (the centurion's servant) and Matthew 8. The central themes are the anointing of God, faith, healing, and the power of words rooted in the Word. Jim opens with the healing of the man with the withered hand, marveling at Jesus's boldness and confidence in ministering even while surrounded by hostile Pharisees. He illustrates this with a personal story of witnessing a miraculous healing — a woman named Lucy whose severely diseased arm was made completely whole in an instant during a service at Flying Dust Reserve. He moves into Luke 6's teaching on virtue (anointing) flowing out of Jesus, connecting it to the crowd that came both to hear and be healed. He shares a testimony from a bull ring in Guatemala where a single corporate prayer resulted in mass miracles — cripples walking, blind seeing, deaf hearing. The sermon then pivots to Jesus's teaching on forgiveness, love of enemies, and sowing seeds of kindness — noting that the famous "give and it shall be given" passage (Luke 6:38) is primarily about releasing forgiveness, not just finances. Jim emphasizes that heart posture drives harvest. He closes with the parable of the two builders, using vivid personal stories about a cabin built on bedrock in Ontario and his own over-engineered acreage house foundation — both illustrating what it looks like to build your life immovably on the Word of God. He ends with the centurion's faith as a model: recognizing Jesus's authority and trusting that one word from Him is enough.
