    Week 6 | On The First Day of The New World (2015) Today, we're completing a series of sermons from Darrell that correspond with Lent and the Easter season. It is called "The Theatre of Glory" and was delivered by Darrell in 2015 at First Baptist Church in Vancouver. In this Easter message from John 20:1–18, we listen as Darrell invites us into what he calls “the story of all stories.” Walking carefully through John’s resurrection account, Darrell shows how the first Easter morning is not simply the end of Jesus’ story, but the beginning of a whole new world. As he traces the echoes of Scripture—from the Garden of Eden to the mercy seat of the tabernacle—we discover that the risen Jesus is the gardener of a new creation, inviting us to step into a world born of resurrection, grounded in grace, and filled with his living presence.     Good Friday Meditation | Today in Paradise (2014) In today’s episode of the podcast, as we head into Easter weekend, we are releasing a standalone meditation that Darrell offered for Good Friday in 2014. In this message, Darrell reflects on the conversation between Jesus and the thieves on the cross in Luke’s Gospel. As one man turns toward darkness, the other turns toward light, recognizing that the suffering man beside him is actually a king.     Week 3 | The Gospel According to Pilate (2015) We're in a series of sermons from Darrell that correspond with Lent and the Easter season. In this Lenten message from John 18:28–19:22, Darrell walks us into the charged and complicated encounter between Jesus and Pontius Pilate.     Week 2 | Who Is On Trial Here? (2015) We're in a series of sermons from Darrell that correspond with Lent and the Easter season. In this Lenten message from John 18:12–27, Darrell invites us to look closely at how Jesus stands faithful under interrogation while his disciple Peter collapses under pressure. As Jesus refuses to deny the truth, Peter denies even knowing Him—revealing the stark contrast between human weakness and divine faithfulness. Yet Peter’s fall is not the end of the story; it becomes the doorway to grace, as he discovers that true discipleship begins with the death of self-reliance.
