Sarzana speaks so clearly and eloquently. What I love about this podcast is how raw and vulnerable it is, she touched on many topics that I could feel like we walked the same path in life. Many of us have some form of childhood trauma, sometimes it is a wound from an absent parent or a parent that didn’t show up for us in the way we needed them to even when they were physically present in our life. I don’t think I could have spoken about this topic the way she does; Sarzana flows beautifully in telling her truth from the point of view of her own healing journey, her growth through learning whether it’s from lived experiences, books or therapy. As a south Asian women myself, talking about mental health in a community that still considers so many topics taboo, I know that it takes immense courage to be vulnerable. As a third culture kid, I feel we are now breaking free of our past traumas, childhood wounds and toxic cycles. This podcast is that voice for many of us, that safe space! If you felt alone or confused, Sarzana makes you feel seen and heard through her podcast and a sense of belonging. Your experience is relevant. Absolutely worth the listen and highly recommend to any women or men!!
