Cleverly done
Just finished listening to the whole thing. This is a well done show - creepy, well paced, utterly confusing at times (in a good way), and with a satisfying ending. I do like it when a show knows when to end things, rather than ruining the whole thing by taking the story beyond its natural stopping point, and when they don't mess up the ending (oh hi, The Black Tapes).
It's not perfect - some of the voice work is a little heavy-handed - but well worth your time
Not living up to expectations
I was REALLY excited when I heard descriptions for this podcast, but so far it's been pretty disappointing. While it's well produced, the story needs work (I can't be the only one who picked up on the Poe and Bosch references before the narrator did). We keep getting promised suspense and shock, but it never delivers. When someone tells me to be prepared for a shock, it really needs to happen. The narrator will employ a tone designated for suspense...but none of those revelations are interesting, let alone surprising. The atmosphere isn't remotely crept, and has a very long way to go before it can rank itself among Archive 81 or Darkest Night. I know it's a new podcast, so I'll keep listening and happily revise my review later if it improves.
