However, some common causes of infertility include: Ovulatory disorders: These are problems with the release of eggs from the ovaries, and they are one of the most common causes of infertility. Ovulatory disorders can be caused by hormonal imbalances, obesity, and other factors. Tubal damage or blockage: The fallopian tubes are the tubes that connect the ovaries to the uterus, and if they are damaged or blocked, it can be difficult for eggs to reach the uterus. Tubal damage or blockage can be caused by infections, surgery, or other factors.
