Groundbreaking
I remember discovering this audio program on the old Internet where you had to listen to it on a website! I was absolutely blown away by the story and the acting. it was only on my second or third listen did I clue into the fact that all the characters are performed by one person!
it has now become a yearly tradition to listen to it once.
it’s hard to believe that this is now 22 years old as the ideas and concepts seem to be more relevant than ever in the push to virtual environments and AI.
if I had one criticism, it would be the music that is often clearly made up from loops for the acid music program
Truly amazing undiscovered gem
I’ve been trying to spread this audio play since it’s original release in 2001. I listen to it over again every year. I know many parts by heart. I wish someone would pick up this gem and turn it into a Netflix show. So creative, witty, philosophical, humorous, and inspiring. It got me into writing fiction (as a hobby).
A true masterpiece! Thank you Dawson Nichols and Jim Horne (same as the creator of Freecell?).
