GI Show – Battlefield 2042 And Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

GI Show – Battlefield 2042 And Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Welcome to one of the biggest GI Shows of the entire year! Nefarious ne'er do well Alex Stadnik has captured Ben Reeves and taken over as host for the week and is bringing the hype! First up, we introduce you to new hire John Carson to discuss his love of games and how he made his way to Game Informer. From there Liana Ruppert and Jay Guisao lose their collective minds over the explosive Battlefield 2042 reveal and discuss their hands-on time with DICE's bombastic shooter.

But the hype doesn't die there. Ben Reeves escapes Stadnik's grasp long enough to chat about all things Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with the EIC himself Andrew Reiner. And stop me if you've heard this before, but we end this week's show with another amazing round of community emails and GI's Ultimate Character Rankings!

    GI Show – E3 2021 Predictions

    GI Show – E3 2021 Predictions

It's finally that special time of year again. E3 2021 is in the air and we can't wait to see what some of the biggest names in the video game industry have in store for their legions of fans. But one does not celebrate such an occasion with a casual 15-minute chat.

We dedicated a whole special edition of The GI Show to give our clairvoyant predictions about what the likes of Microsoft, Nintendo, and more have to surprise us when E3 (and Geoff Keighley) open their digital doors to the masses. Will we see anything from huge tentpoles such as The Elder Scrolls VI or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2? What will PlayStation's presence entail? How are we going to contain ourselves when Halo Infinite comes on screen? Only time will tell.

The wait for E3 week (weekend? Month? How do we quantify this anymore?) can be excruciating, but we have just the remedy to tide you over. Join Alex Stadnik, Liana Ruppert, Marcus Stewart, and new-hire John Carson as they dish on what they think will go down during gaming's biggest events!

GI Show – Mario Golf: Super Rush, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, And Resident Evil Village

On this week's episode of The Game Informer Show, we discuss a handful of the games we've been digging recently, including Mario Golf: Super Rush, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Biomutant, Resident Evil Village, and Knockout City. We're also joined by Fanbyte Media features editor Elise Favis (@elisefavis) and The Washington Post games reporter Gene Park (@GenePark) who talk about their time covering games together for newspapers and how that's different than working online.

Through and through so amazing!

The GameInformer Show is one of my favourite podcasts I listen too each week. The guests are always fun to listen to making it even more of a joy. Oh and Andy, you always say you make the podcast worse, but you great and I love the topics you bring up. Hope you all are keeping well! This podcast will not disappoint.

Not good people

Reviews are half baked and not well informed

Among all the gaming podcasts I follow, Game Informer has the best banter

Very in-depth podcast, if you’re looking for game coverage. The regulars of the show are very funny. Their listener mail segment is always filled with great coverage. I don’t even play most the games they talk about, but I still listen to them every week because they’re good at taking about games. If there is one point of criticism, it’s that the segment after listener mail tends to drag.
