Listened since the very start, but I think I’m done…
I remember stumbling on to this show after the 1Up-ocalypse and really loving it, but the last handful of years the “takes” and personalities have… devolved, it seems, into the worst forms. RS has become the thing he used to mock, the nerd who believes his opinions are the only right ones, while RH has basically become a sort of weird progressive edge lord—his takes have always been contrarian (and maddeningly awful/obtuse), but more and more he seems to revel in it.
I know we all age and our personalities shift, but the two Geekbox leads feel, at this point, like the sort of nerd cranks they used to rip into on the regular. It’s gotten insufferable and self-defeating.
Good Podcast!!
I found this podcast by accident about 2 years ago now and I love it and listen every week! I don't get a lot of geeky conversation in my life so this helps me to feel like I am in touch with the wonderful wacky world of gaming, comics and other geeky stuff. These folks are a lot of fun and worth a subscribe!
