    The Generalists introduce the podcast and discuss what Eklectish is. Afterwards, they speak with social entrepreneur Nick Gibson about his company Our Better Selves and self-improvement. Nick Gibson is a social entrepreneur, speaker, coach/facilitator, and a change agent. Nick has worked at Nielsen (a global market research consulting firm) with clients ranging from consumer product manufacturers Coca-Cola, Conagra and Lindt to retailers like Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw. He will be the first to point out how much he learned from his previous work in consulting, but his university student government experience and his leadership development experience (including with Sigma Chi) revealed to him that there were bigger problems in the world that he was not adequately addressing in his day job. This tension forced him to make a change and found Our Better Selves: a venture focused on unleashing a vibrant, empowered, and thriving community of change agents focused on solving critical problems of human flourishing aligned with their values. He works directly with change agents (creating an empowering environment to thrive and solve problems), organizations looking to create better workplace culture, and partners who can serve them in various capacities.
