He always cuts off the called when they make factual points as he cuts their mic volume so he can get the last word to try to convince the weak minded listener. He follows the guidelines of “if you can’t convince, the confuse” by using selling techniques. He says finance a car even if you have cash so you can invest with me and my financial advisor. That’s what I’m looking for, a car salesman giving me advice on how to invest my million dollar portfolio in RRSP life savings. The show is entertaining if you like cars.... and listening to people get taken advantage of over the phone by his tactics... cringeworthy to say the least.
Stay away from his dealerships!
Gives very bad car advice, such as NEVER paying cash to buy a car, even if you have the cash or can skip the expensive dealer financing through a credit union or lending broker. Another terrible advice is to ALWAYS pay the dealer for extended warranty, even when it’s not worth it for the consumer.
