Annoying background sound

I started listening one of the episodes on a very interesting subject. But that episode uses a very annoying background sound/music that, in my perception, disrupts the flow of the foreground dialog and gets on my nerves so much that we cant listen, although I am very interested. :(.
Not sure what the goal of thar music was but it did not seem to contribute any value to the conversation.
