Keara Short, a grade 9 student, knows that learning can be joyful. She developed a love of chemistry through a video game, she embraces 'messy' learning, and she even has an example of when she lost track of time because she was so engaged in editing a podcast. This conversation is a rich example of how much students love to learn; but are we giving them the right opportunities in our schools?

In the third episode of season 1, I am joined by Melanie Fleming who is a Drama and Textiles teacher at Queen Elizabeth Regional High School in Foxtrap, Newfoundland and Labrador.
