S2 | Episode 11 - Unexpected things that happen after you leave an abusive situation

Leaving an abusive relationship isn't the finish line. It's the beginning of learning how to trust yourself again. In this episode, I'm sharing 15 things I didn't expect to experience after leaving abusive relationships. The thoughts that surprised me. The emotions I wasn't prepared for. And the practices that slowly helped me rebuild my confidence, my identity, and my sense of safety. Whether you've walked away from an unhealthy romantic relationship, friendship, workplace, or family dynamic, this conversation is an invitation to give yourself a little more grace. Healing isn't about getting over it as quickly as possible. It's about creating the conditions for yourself to feel safe enough to become who you really are. In This Episode, I Share: ✨ Why you might question how you didn't see the abuse sooner ✨ The shame, guilt, and self-blame that can surface after leaving ✨ What happens when you lose trust in your own judgment and how to rebuild it ✨ Why peace can actually feel uncomfortable after living in survival mode ✨ Rediscovering your identity when you no longer have to protect yourself ✨ The role nervous system regulation played in my own healing ✨ How relationships become spaces for healing, not proof that you're "fixed" ✨ The mindset shifts that helped me create healthier relationships and a more grounded life If you're in the messy middle of rebuilding after a hard chapter, I hope this episode gives you permission to slow down, soften, and trust that you're becoming the woman you were always meant to be. S2 | Episode 10 - I Screamed for 45 Minutes and Here's What Came Out

I recently attended a three-day event in Austin, Texas, and while I expected to learn a lot, I didn't expect to be challenged, stretched, and moved in the ways that I was. This weekend came at a time when I've been navigating a major identity shift. So much of who I used to be has fallen away over the last few years, and I've found myself standing in the space between who I was and who I'm becoming. In this episode, I'm sharing some of the most powerful experiences and insights from that weekend, including a profound breathwork session, conversations around shame and vulnerability, and the reminders I needed most about healing, self-compassion, and personal growth. One of the biggest lessons I walked away with is that transformation is rarely about one massive breakthrough. It's usually a series of small moments, small shifts, and small acts of courage that eventually change everything. I also dive into Brené Brown's three pillars of wholehearted living: courage, compassion, and connection, and why I believe these three qualities are essential if we want to create a life that feels as good as it looks. In This Episode, I Share: ✨ The powerful difference between guilt and shame ✨ What happened when a room full of strangers shared their deepest struggles ✨ My experience with an intense breathwork session and the unexpected emotional release that followed ✨ Why I believe shame loses its power when it's brought into the light ✨ The danger of "silver bullet syndrome" and waiting for one moment to change your life ✨ How lasting transformation is created through small shifts over time ✨ What courage, compassion, and connection really look like in practice ✨ Why community and co-regulation are such important parts of healing If you've been feeling disconnected from yourself, stuck between versions of who you are, or trying to navigate growth on your own, I hope this episode reminds you that you don't have to do it alone. S2 | Episode 8 - The Only Secret to Getting More of You What You Want

In this episode, I’m diving into something I see constantly in high-achieving women and something I’ve personally struggled with too. A hyperfixation on self-improvement. On the surface, it looks like growth. Healing. Expansion. Self-awareness. But underneath it can quietly become something else entirely: self-surveillance, perfectionism in disguise, and an exhausting internal pressure to constantly “fix” yourself. We explore: why so many high-achieving women feel stuck even though they’re doing “all the right things” the difference between shame and guilt (and why it matters for healing)how self-improvement can become a form of self-abandonmentwhy focusing on what’s “wrong” with you keeps you looping in the same patternshow your brain reinforces the identity you repeatedly focus onthe trap of constantly trying to become “better” instead of becoming more yourselfwhat it actually means to shift from fixing → expandinghow to use relief, presence, and self-trust as your real guidance system At the heart of this episode is a simple reframe: You don’t need to constantly fix yourself to create a better life. In fact, the more you obsess over what’s wrong, the more you reinforce it. This is about learning how to lift your head, step out of the microscope, and start living from a place of presence instead of constant self-monitoring. Because the goal isn’t to become a perfected version of you. It’s to become more YOU... fully, freely, and without the pressure to constantly be improving to be worthy. If this episode resonates, share it with someone who needs to hear it, and listen with curiosity about where you might be stuck in self-improvement instead of self-trust. 💕 To get details about group or VIP coaching inquire here: https://form.typeform.com/to/ownhkW2v Instagram: https://instagram.com/millifox TikTok: https://tiktok.com/@manifestwithmilli Website: https://millifox.com

S2 | Episode 7 - Making Extremely Hard Decisions (Leaving my Marriage)

In this week’s episode, I’m sharing something deeply personal: the how and the why behind ending my marriage. This conversation is raw, vulnerable, and honest. I’m walking you through the years leading up to my divorce, the perfectionism, the abandonment wounds, the nervous system dysregulation, the people-pleasing, the self-betrayal, and ultimately, the process of reclaiming myself. We talk about: The red flags I ignored from the beginningHow motherhood intensified everything I hadn’t healed yetThe role self-compassion and self-trust played in helping me leaveThe fear of starting overWhy environment and relational dynamics matter more than we admitThe truth about healing before loveAnd how I manifested the relationship I have now This episode is not about blaming anyone. It’s about sharing my lived experience with honesty, compassion, and integrity in the hopes that another woman feels less alone in hers. If you’re currently questioning a relationship, feeling disconnected from yourself, or trying to figure out whether you’re abandoning your truth to keep the peace, I hope this episode gives you permission to get honest with yourself. You already know more than you think you do. And sometimes courage is simply taking the next step before you feel ready. We discuss: Why self-trust is built in small daily “drops” and broken through repeated self-abandonmentHow overpromising, perfectionism, and unrealistic standards destroy consistency and confidenceThe three core ways to rebuild self-trust: keeping promises, taking aligned risks, and deepening spiritual trustWhy self-compassion and community are essential for nervous system safety and long-term change If you’ve been feeling unsure of yourself, stuck in cycles of starting and stopping, or like you can’t rely on yourself to follow through, this episode will help you understand how self-trust is actually built and begin creating a more consistent, empowered, and self-connected version of you 💕 To get details about group or VIP coaching inquire here: https://form.typeform.com/to/ownhkW2v Instagram: https://instagram.com/millifox TikTok: https://tiktok.com/@manifestwithmilli Website: https://millifox.com
