The Movie Proposal

Borrowed always helps me visit the classics (how have I not seen some of these!) and Blew opens the door to some amazing current stuff (like Blockbuster wow thanks Jason!)

Many intelligent insights, but then at least one of the guys has some run-of-the-mill anti-woke takes, which is tedious and lame. Sometimes a movie is bad and challenges gender/racial norms, not that it’s bad because it challenges gender/racial norms.

Good thoughts on movies delivered in an entertaining way. I don’t always agree with the “proposals,” but their conversations always intrigue me about the movies they’re talking about. I appreciate that you are willing to go into “spoilers” for the sake of a good conversation. It may not be how everyone likes to watch movies, but I enjoy them more if I know a bit about the plot before going in. My only critique is that it’s too short! I would love more in depth thoughts about the films.
