Welcome to The NDK Podcast, hosted by Nathan and Dana. Two long time friends from a small town in Canada. We get together, have some drinks and shoot the shit by sharing our unique perspectives and experiences. Each episode we will have candid conversations, story telling and lots of laughs! We will get into different topics from old stories and small town life, to current events and what we are into now. Just seeing how she goes, we may even bring on a guest or two someday.     Season One Finale!

    Holy Moly! What a week! Especially for Nathan!! He went to a concert movie. He went out on a Friday night to check out Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour Going to see a concert at the movies? Dana has never been, but her interest is peeked! The next day as he’s going to work, he takes their old BBQ out to the road with a for sale sign on it. Thirty seconds later someone pulls right over to buy it! She needs help loading it into her SUV; weird you’d put it in the car, but whatever. Find out how an act of kindness leads to a visit to the ER. Later that night Nathan went from feeling pain, to feeling no pain at a concert that night. Apparently he was a hot commodity and everyone wanted a feel! We get all the details of a fun night out seeing Wing Night (The Band). Sunday brought more adventures for Mother's Day. Nathan and his brothers thought they had a reservation and it was even confirmed. Well were they ever surprised when they showed up and the restaurant was closed for good. We get to hear how all that unfolded too! Dana’s got a thing for specialized license plates. Caught one today that she thought might be Jesus but was thoroughly disappointed. She also catches up with an old friend! Laughing and reminiscing about old times… and old nicknames lol This week in the local paper, hometown celebrities, the Falcon Brothers were featured for the up coming Slamdemonium 2, Dana’s eye was caught by the schools drama club throwing signs in their newspaper picture Ok guys, we need to talk...This has been a blast and we are loving it but life is lifing, and lifing hard! NDK is no exception, we’ve decided to take the summer off. We are calling this, the end of season one. With summer on the horizon and work schedules picking up, plus baseball season for Dana and wrestling for Nathan. We have decided to make the tough decision to take a break for the foreseeable future. We don't know for how long or when we will be back, but the plan is to come back eventually. We hope that you have all enjoyed season one. Please keep following us and stay subscribed so that you know what's coming next as soon as we have something happen. Who knows maybe there will be some one off specials soon?     Over The Hill, Lego and Marine Biology

    NDK is back this week in the OG setup. We’ve had an amazing 8 week run of guest!! We’re so thankful to all our amazing guest for those fun 8 weeks!! While we were doing our guest stretch NDK each had their birthdays!!! This year Nathan turned the BIG 4-0 and Dana’s there to welcome him to the club! Of course turning 40 means that there was a PARTY!!! 🎉 We recap the night of good friends and good laughs. We shout out some great gifts and we talk about all the way we feel old as we glide on into our middle age. Of course it wouldn’t be us if we also didn’t have some random stuff to talk about.     Off The Ropes Studio Owner/Trainer and Professional Wrestler Vanessa/Sabrina Kyle

    The guest appearances keep rolling in. This week we welcome Vanessa!!!! The founder of Off The Ropes Studio and pro wrestler herself, Sabrina Kyle. Vanessa was just at the IMAX watching the first installment of the Michaël Jackson bio pic ‘Michael’. Her absolute favorite of all time!!! The bio pic was excellent and she kept it spoiler safe! Then the hot topic of Landmark vs Cineplex entered the chat. We are excited to get to know our guest!! Vanessa is a Hamilton born Ontario raised badass woman! Who got her start in wrestling as a young teenage girl who earned her place amongst the men. Who weren’t going to be easy on her just because she was girl, and shares how Sabrina Kyle was born. Vanessa takes us back to her first match, her favorite match and what are some of her dream matches or people she would love to work with. We finally dive into how Off the Ropes Studio was born. Vanessa also opens up about how important it was to her to create a safe environment and space for learn and hone their craft. Specifically for women.     Independent Wrestling Profiles, BS Bargain Bin and Pixel Opinions Host, Sandro!

    This week we have special guest and podcast host, Sandro, dropping into the studio this week! But first! It’s been a DAY!!! Dana’s late trying to leave for the podcast because Spider-Man was at the door. Back to it! We are getting to know Sandro and his many endeavors! Nathan met Sandro at wrestling and Nathan did Sandro’s podcast, the Independent Wrestling Profiles. Sandro’s first got started with his video game channel called Pixel Opinions. Reviewing all things video games! They cover reviews, what’s new in gaming and discussing video game rumor mills. Also branching out into podcasts! Sandro also has another podcast, it is called BS Bargain Bin. Going back to the old days of the $5 Walmart/Blockbuster movie bin. Putting your hand in and grabbing something random. How fun it is to go into a movie blind and just be taken away with the story Lastly, Sandro opens up about his solo passion project, the Independent Wrestling Profiles. He’d always been curious about how wrestlers got their start in the business and what drew them into it. Why not go right to the source, the wrestlers themselves! He highlights him shooting his shot and asking his favorite independent wrestler to be a guest and the rest is, as they say, is history. Random question of the episode! Malorie, like NDK worked together at the local grocery store!! We reminisce about the good old days!     The guests keep coming! This week the NDK podcast welcomes ‘Rough House’ Jeff Black!!! And immediately, he wants to know what’s the etiquette on farts and has some big news to share as well. Once that’s settled, Jeff tells us a bit about himself! From his humble beginnings in Goderich, Ont. to becoming a pro wrestler. He gives us stories from starting out in the business, memorable matches. He reminisces about past matches between big names like Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Brody Lee and Carlito!!! Not only is he a professional wrestler, Jeff and his partner Vanessa also started the wrestling school, Off the Ropes Studio. Together they have built up their wrestling school that now feature some prolific local starts… like the Falcon Brothers!
