The Pelvic Lab

Alizeh Ladak

A podcast about pelvic pain and women's sexual wellness. By sharing my personal journey as a 29-year old woman living with chronic pelvic pain, I aspire to provide support to other women living with vulvodynia, including: vestibulodynia, vaginismus, dyspareunia, and pelvic floor dysfunction. By interviewing a variety of healthcare and alternative professionals, I intend to provide education and resources to women and all members of their support system. This podcast is for anyone who identifies as a woman as well as for all other humans who love us and want to better understand both the pleasure and pain generated through our powerful pelvis.

    Ep.10: Sex Therapy

In conversation with Natasha Bachoo, Social Worker and Sex Therapist. In this episode, Natasha demonstrates that sex therapy isn't nearly as daunting as it might sound. She provides suggestions for addressing negative emotions related to sexual challenges, alternatives to penetrative sex, advice on how to support a partner with sexual challenges, and how to find the right sex therapist for you. Natasha is based in Toronto, Ontario and is the only therapist I have felt totally comfortable talking to about these intimate details of life. Happy listening Pelvic Pals and wishing you a pleasureful day!
