    NFL Network reported last night that the Steelers have in fact offered a contract to Joey Porter Jr., but we have no details on the terms. After all of the other corners and a few other Steelers in Porter’s draft class got new deals, will Porter join them? Poni liked the comparison made on the midday show about Zay Flowers, who got big money from the Ravens this offseason despite not being close to the best WR in football. Who is going to win the game of chicken? Former NFL QB, current CBS Sports analyst Ben DiNucci joined the show. Ben wants to see the Steelers offense clicking a little bit right away on Sunday with Aaron Rodgers getting the football out on time. Ben likes the addition of a few playmakers like Rico Dowdle and Michael Pittman. What does a Mike McCarthy script normally look like? The guys had Ben breakdown the comments from Rodgers hyping up Mason Rudolph and everything he has gotten better at this offseason. Ben thinks Rodgers was ’15 years ahead of his time’ when it comes to using his base to be one of the best throwers-of-the-football we have ever seen.     Rodgers Responses – What did Aaron Rodgers say to the media today? 93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Joey Porter Jr. was the only Steelers player listed on the injury report as a ‘limited’ participant. Jeff said tomorrow is a bigger practice day because the team will be in pads. Jeff told us Porter took part in some individual drills today. How is the ramp-up period going for Porter as we get closer to Week 1? Jeff thinks the team is confident in Asante Samuel Jr. if he has to play substantial snaps on Sunday. Jeff expects Jaylen Warren to be the lead back, but Rico Dowdle will definitely see snaps.     Mike Tomlin thinks the best Steelers team he coached was 2015 – a team that didn’t even reach the AFC Championship Game. How wasn’t his answer the 2008 team that won Super Bowl 43? The ’15 Steelers were 30th in the NFL in pass yards allowed. We quickly found the show in a debate between Tomlin and Bill Cowher during their time in Pittsburgh. Would Tomlin have had the same success as Cowher if he entered the league back in 1992? Does anyone still believe in Mason Rudolph? Aaron Rodgers thinks his backup still has the chance to be a good QB in the league.     Aaron Rodgers said he came back because he believes the Steelers are legit contenders. Is he right? Are the Steelers being doubted too much as defending division champs? It feels like the consensus is that they are the third best team in the AFC North. Can they hang with the Ravens and Bengals? Caller told the guys they are way too high on Baltimore and Cincy – said the Steelers will win 12-13 games. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike was stunned to find out Mike Tomlin was into the game Minecraft. Florio described Tomlin as very happy and relaxed since he made the move to TV, but expects Tomlin to get plenty of interest from NFL teams later this year. Tomlin will do a sit-down interview with John Harbaugh ahead of the SNF broadcast, which features the Giants. Could we see Tomlin and Harbaugh face off again sooner than we might think?
