Ep #58: Ready, Fire, Aim!: How to Create Content to Fuel Your Database with Jas Takhar

Ep #58: Ready, Fire, Aim!: How to Create Content to Fuel Your Database with Jas Takhar

In this amazing episode of The Richard Robbins Show, I sat down with a man who has mastered the art of content creation. From one piece of long-form content he creates 30 to 35 pieces daily, which fuels his database of over 9,500 people.
Jas Takhar, a Toronto native with over 26 years of experience in the sales and service industry, is the founder of REC Canada under Royal LePage, and for over 5 years has successfully kept his team top 3 in the country.
Jas tells me that the love for sales started at a young age delivering newspapers and working retail jobs. “I loved knocking on people’s doors and trying to build rapport in those first 5 seconds.”

Ep #57: An Introvert's Game Plan to Successful Client Events with Bonnie Mullinax

Ep #57: An Introvert's Game Plan to Successful Client Events with Bonnie Mullinax

A friend of mine of nearly 20 years, my next guest on The Richard Robbins Show is a master of client events and has found massive success in maintaining a small, yet loyal group of employees.
Bonnie Mullinax has been practicing real estate for over 32 years in Cartersville, Georgina, located 40 minutes north of Atlanta. In this small town of 125,000 people, Bonnie has made a name for herself as one of the area's top real estate professionals.
“Being young and naive and knowing nothing about real estate, I went, sure! There was no plan, no anything.” While her career may have began on a whim, her longevity is solely due to the fact that she has built a strong business with loyalty being its top attribute.

Ep #56: The Power of StoryBrand: How to Influence, Sell and Market with Dr. J.J. Peterson

Ep #56: The Power of StoryBrand: How to Influence, Sell and Market with Dr. J.J. Peterson

Last year, in the midst of the pandemic, a dear friend of mine, Sam Hewitt, introduced me to one of the best books I have ever read: Building a StoryBrand. Today, I am pleased to share with you an interview with the Vice President of StoryBrand, Dr. J.J. Peterson.
J.J. has always been fascinated with storytelling. He graduated with a degree in Communications, studied Theology for his Masters and achieved a Ph.D. in Narrative Marketing and Theology of Comedy. Suffice it to say, Dr. Peterson knows a thing or two about effective storytelling.
J.J. explains that, “What story does, is it helps you focus on the important things. Story is a sense making device. It is told in a way that helps the audience focus on a specific point, outcome or perspective.”

Ep #55: Family Matters: How to Create Successful Working Relationships with Alex Pilarski

Ep #55: Family Matters: How to Create Successful Working Relationships with Alex Pilarski

On the 55th episode of The Richard Robbins Show, I sit down with a longtime friend and real estate juggernaut, Alex Pilarski.
In 1972 at just 20 years old, Alex got his real estate license after working with his two brothers in a family run investment company. His exposure to real estate inspired him to change professions and together with his brother created RE/MAX Realtron. Today, the pair of them look after nearly 1,000 real estate professionals and over 100 full time support staff.
“That’s where I learned my most valuable lesson. Never sell real estate, only buy real estate.”
