Mineralized Soil with Sean Murphy | ScapeFu058

Mineralized Soil with Sean Murphy | ScapeFu058

Sean Murphy is the first to use mineralized soil in planted aquariums intentionally. Mineralized soil retains all of the beneficial nutrients but removes almost 100% of the organics that regular soil has. This minimizes the changes of algae while still providing your plants with the nutrition they need.

    Items mentioned:

Aaron Talbot's write up about Mineralized Soil and Sean's recipe at APC
    GWAPA site
    Dupla

Awesome Podcast

Extremely informative info delivered in a way thats easy to understand and non bias. This has helped me start two planted tanks with zero experience before hand. Art has a genuine passion for the hobby and it really comes out in these podcasts.

Great Podcast!

I love listening to these podcasts even though I don't have a planted tank... Yet. I'm currently keeping a nano reef but I am very interested in starting a planted tank. Thanks for all the hard work guys!

Look forward to it each time

Really nice podcast that has nicely matured in format over time. Very good information that is very accessible to every sort of planted tank enthusiast. Have particularly enjoyed their branching into different offshoot approaches, and their attempts to keep enough information in there to be useful without being overwhelming.
