Chapter 1 | The Mage, Eyfre
The Mage, Eyfre, prepares to leave Lakewall with a new crop of students headed to Iro to become students of The Mages Consortium. She is no stranger to traveling in the large caravans that travel between the settled areas of the continent, but doing it in comfort is something of an oddity for her.
Her attempts to adjust are interrupted by an old - and odd - acquaintance, and she recounts a story filled with half truths.

The thief, Whisper, leaves the comfort of Marauder Jal’s scars and is now traveling to become a mage. He quickly finds that he is greatly lacking in the skills required to become a mage, and his time to prepare is much much shorter than he thought. He decides to rely on a skill set he’s been training his whole life… but first he has to deal with the annoying girl he doesn’t seem interested in becoming a mage at all.

No one is quite sure what turns their eyes grey...
Saaut is one of the strange people known as The Grey Eyes. They have gods like The Church and power like The Consortium, but are hunted and ridiculed by both. They try to keep to themselves, but Saaut finds that he is about to be far removed from the lands he grew up in.
Meanwhile, Eyfre attempts to get more information, but she gets more then she bargained for.

Chapter 4 | In the Shadow of the Wall pt I
Talee doesn't mean to get distracted, she just does. The Caravan now sits at the gate of Lakewall,and prepares to travel into the section of The Wilds called The Web. Talee still struggles with comprehending she is leaving the Wall. A part of her never imagined she’d leave, but still a part of her could never imagine leaving.
As she prepares for the next part of the test, she grows closer to Whisper

Utterly Enchanted
This epic fantasy is beautiful. The way the exposition is delivered is seemless and delightful for the lore-focused listener, and as someone with conditions similar to those of one particular character I felt deeply touched. I hope this show goes far and becomes a wild success, and that it doesn't forget its roots. There is one small quibble, not worth the loss of a star as it did not impact my enjoyment but still worth mentioning: I sincerely hope the uh... characters who were given that indistinct australo-cockney accent are eventually redubbed. It is clear the narrator is trying their best but... the voice is not distinct enough, and it occasionally distracts.

If you are looking for an epic fantasy series that keeps you on the edge of your seat you have found the perfect podcast! I quickly fell in love with the characters and their stories. Great sound design and score as well. Can’t wait for the next episode!
