Driven to Death? - “No Comment”

In this episode Caroline and Nick have the dramatic and at times combative exchanges in court as Chris Trybus defended himself against charges of manslaughter, rape and coercive control. He was taken to task by Tom Little KC who said his wife had accused him of being a wife beater and a rapist. And he was asked if he’d removed messages on his phone because they were incriminating. Chris Trybus said he was shocked by his wife’s accusations and he couldn’t reconcile them with his memories. Driven to Death? - Bully or Betrayed

In this episode Caroline and Nick have more of the evidence from Chris Trybus, the man on trial. During his third day in the witness box he said he never abused his wife, Tarryn Baird, and he now felt “betrayed” by her allegations. He also said again that he was out of the country on two of the occasions she said he’d beaten her. He also said he was baffled to find out that during a romantic holiday in Scotland, Tarryn sent an email to a domestic violence advisor saying their relationship was “increasingly difficult” and she knew she had to leave him.  Subscribe via thecrimedesk.com Follow us on TikTok @DailyMailCrime Email us thetrial@dailymail.com WhatsApp us +447796657512 (start your message with ‘Trial’)   Presenter: Caroline Cheetham and Nick Fagge Actors: Lucy Ryan Producer: Chelsey Ranore Editor: Chelsey Ranore Creative Director: Caroline Cheetham Production Manager: Vittoria Cecchini   A Daily Mail production.
