Vanderpump Rules S8 E19 Recap & After Show: Meet me at the pool part(ies)

This week on Vanderpump Rules, Tom Sandoval decides to go through with his pool party on the same day as Jax’s party, despite the drama that it causes. The gang has to choose between which pool party to attend, and Ariana tells Brittany that Katie was the one who suggested Tom throw his party on the same day as Jax. Brittany confronts Katie about it, and they get in an argument. Jax is working out 3 times a day and being distant, which causes Brittany to think he’s slipping back into his old ways. Stassi pulls Jax aside at the pool party and he opens up to her about how he’s been feeling post-wedding. Brett and Max get into an argument about Brett making out with Dayna, and she ultimately feels like she’s stuck in between two men, neither of which are fully committing to her. Lisa asks the Toms if they want to continue their investment into the expansion of TomTom with The Garden at TomTom, and they both are optimistic about the opportunity. Tune in next week for the season finale!

Vanderpump Rules S8 E17 Recap & After Show: First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage…

On this week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Beau finally gets to propose to Stassi at the cemetary like he’s been planning to do for months, and it went off without a hitch! Stassis’s family surprised her at Villa Rosa for the engagement party and she was beyond thrilled, but Carter sent Beau a text telling them that they should be thanking Kristen, and tensions arise. Kristen is obviously upset about not knowing about the proposal, and Brittany and Jax visit her the next day to make sure she’s okay. SUR was the winner in the softball game, and James took the opportunity to sincerely apologize to Katie, and she accepts his apology!

Witches of We Hope This Friendship Can Be Mended - S8 E16 'Vanderpump Rules' Recap & After Show

This week on Vanderpump Rules, Stassi, Kristen, and Katie are planning a Witches of WeHo wine event, but Kristen seems to be the only one interested in the brand anymore. Beau is struggling with keeping his friendship with Kristen while maintaining his relationship with Stassi and planning a proposal, which ultimately leads to a huge blow-up between him and Stassi at the event. Brett and Dayna’s relationship is still flourishing, and Brett pulls Dayna aside to talk about why she doesn’t support him dating her friends. Scheana tries to help Dayna connect with her mother by hiring a psychic to come to her house, but Dayna feels blindsighted and gets upset about it. Meanwhile, Lala and James are back in the studio and making music together, and James opens up even more about his sobriety journey.

Stassi Kind of a Girl

As a loyal Pumprules fan and Stassi fan i always listened to this podcast but this panel is my absolute favorite. They have they right mix of sass, shade and truth. The panel knows their cast and one could occasionally forgive their mix up of the two Toms. Most importantly they include feed back from the live chat and their listeners showing their savvy skills in entertainment! This pumptini goes to you guys!! We come for the show but stay for the shade!

HELP NEEDED!

For the love of “decibels”, STOP SCREAMING when you podcast!
You have MICROPHONES right in front of you! Either remove the mics from the table or learn to control yourself!

Good (logical) Advice:
Unless you are just “Not Coachable), try listening to some “PROFESSIONAL” podcasts and “LEARN HOW” it’s done properly. Clearly not everyone is cut out for the job. 🙄

Contrary to what you may think, the podcast is NOT about “YOU”!
Your job is to deliver QUALITY content on behalf of BRAVO - to the fans. It’s to be done in such a way that it’s actually “ENJOYABLE” enough that listeners will subscribe and RETURN for more each week.

It’s child-like, annoying and repulsive for listeners to be forced into listening to you YELLING into a microphone simply because you’re making a point or because you’re over-zealous. Podcasting isn’t for everyone. If you don’t know how to do it professionally, you shouldn’t be representing BRAVO.

If your response to this is to just become DEFENSIVE (which is an instant RED FLAG 🚩 that needs to be immediately addressed by producers) and you want to “lash out” against those who don’t LIKE all the crazy YELLING into microphones - and your first suggestion is NOT to “CORRECT YOURSELF” - but rather to recommend that we “not bother listening to you then” - again, THAT is ALSO very unprofessional (and very telling that you’re definitely not the right fit for the job).
The podcast is NOT ABOUT “YOU”... and the key is to GAIN listeners; not to chase them away because you can’t control & conduct yourself in an adult, professional manner.
Try This:
Throw in some Air pods or earbuds, etc. and experience your unnecessary YELLING for yourself! That’s how you can learn to adjust. You’re literally at risk of blowing the ear drums of listeners who use those types of listening devices.
This isn’t intended to be insulting.
It’s a good, solid recommendation - but only intelligent individuals will appreciate it.
Good advice is generally wasted on both narcissists and the stubborn, un-coachable type of personality.

We can easily grasp your emphasis and enthusiasm when you speak - without you SCREAMING your words into a microphone at us. Relax.

If you’re yelling because you have a hearing impairment, I apologize... but again, if you don’t use a corrective hearing device to correct it, then podcasting is just NOT for YOU.
It’s supposed to be fun - whilst maintaining a decent level of professionalism. There’s a balance but unfortunately, you are missing the mark.

Of all the podcasts that currently cover Vanderpump Rules, this one comes in LOWEST on the list. This group seems desperate for “self-attention” and they laugh non-stop (thinking they’re funnier than they really are).
It’s really annoying, childish & at times, very difficult to listen to.

It’s beyond clear they don’t take their jobs seriously and sometimes you can tell that certain members didn’t even watch the episodes they’re covering.
Whatever. Things happen, life gets busy, etc. However - if/when that happens (and you’ve completely missed or only half-watched an episode) ... know enough to SIT THAT ONE OUT! 🙄
Don’t TRY to do it anyway.
It’s so frustrating listening to the panel members having to “FILL IN” the ONE PERSON who is missing points & details because they didn’t pay attention to the episode that they’re scheduled to podcast about. It’s honestly better for the listeners/viewers to leave your chair on the panel “empty” that week.

The whole thing seems kind of a mess of “giggling-over-nothing” toddlers.

The “guy” who podcasts with them should just take over the whole thing. He’d get more respect because it’s obvious he’s intelligent and NOT a loudmouth (who screams into the mic).
He also seems the most professional, logical and interesting to listen to.
Clearly he WATCHES the episodes and can get the job done - professionally.
It’s UNFAIR for him to be forced to CARRY the show to make up for the others on the panel.

This panel of girls - meh. They don’t impress me (or any of my co-workers). We used to listen to it together but most of them can’t handle the one girls voice... She’s so loud and she tries to sound like a know-it-all (and like HER OPINION is the ONE that matters)... but she fails. Ugh! They’re very annoying!

There are too many other great podcast options out there for THIS ONE to be overly successful with all the yelling into mics and lack of professionalism.
Until they change out the panel, this one is a waste of time.

Sorry. I’m sincerely NOT trying to be mean. Just stating facts - on behalf of Bravos listening audience. There are ways to correct the issues but THAT also requires professionals to do the right thing for the sake of the podcasts’ success - as opposed to coddling the feelings of those on the panel who really shouldn’t be doing this job.
