    How our present identity shapes our future self

    THE CONCEPT OF IDENTITY OF SELF. 🤯 Does who you are today match the life you want to build for yourself in the future? I had this really powerful conversation with a friend recently about the idea of our identity and who we wanted to be. As she was walking me through the powerful concept, we came to realize just HOW POWERFUL our identity is in achieving a BIG GRAND PICTURE for ourselves. 🦋 The dynamic between your current self and the woman you envision and inspire to be in different areas of your life is a VERY MUCH intertwined. ✨ You can be a business owner today and aspire to be an incredible successful, abundant, recognizable, expert business woman but the bridge from where you are now and where you aspire to be is simply not matching. And my ladies this is some REAL HARD TRUTH. 🥹 Like we can’t aspire to be abundantly, independent and financially FREE, when we are anchored in a scarcity mindset today where nothing “is enough”, where we see a glass half-empty. Now disclaimer, I am in no means shaming our current situation. We can be in a sticky spot right now, and that’s a reality. AND another reality is, that we can have a mindset that allows us to move higher and grow bigger. 🧱 In other words, there’s a difference between a broke person who has a rich mindset and believes in the possibilities for themselves so they act accordingly VS. a broke person who thinks and acts broke and wants to be rich. (This goes for so many areas of our lives). This concept really hit me hard and I realized just how many times we GET IN OUR OWN WAY by choosing an identity today that does not match the vision we have for ourselves.
