I came to a point in my career where I needed greater financial stability. I started looking into impact-driven community organizations that are working to make a meaningful difference — preferably for LGBTQ+ individuals.

Interview with Mark J Silverman: Executive Coach, Speaker, Podcaster, and Best-Selling Author

In this episode, we talk about Mark recently turning 60, the fallacy of multi-passionate creatives, and what success really means.
But our primary focus is Mark's signature approach to productivity, his Only 10s framework. He jokes that if you were to show him your to-do list, it would be like reading tarot cards. He would be able to tell you in an instant what you value, what you like and dislike, and what you're afraid of doing.

I Knew I Was Gay When I Was Five Years Old

I Knew I Was Gay When I Was Five Years Old

"Until I was 19 (in 1984), and for almost 15 years, I felt a combination of fear, guilt, shame, unrequited desire, silence, isolation, and otherness."
Self-examination and knowing the events, the people, the environments, and the conditions that shaped your past are useful information. This is your personal narrative — and you can do with it what you please. In my case, I was determined to live better in the now than I had been living in my past.

Going Within

Using carefully curated sources and provocative philosophical questions, Darren teaches us how to go within when navigating the ups and downs of life instead of pointing fingers.

It’s really such a beautiful and thoughtful podcast.

I like to listen while I walk or jog.

Thank you!

Voice of Reason

I really enjoy this podcast and the content that Darren shares on social media platforms. He says what the community needs to hear on how to be there for ourselves and one another and make positive changes in our lives and for our community.

Queer self discovery

Darren, I’ve started to listen more to your podcasts recently and kudos to you.

I was and still am having hard time adjusting to the toxic masculinity at work and your pod cast have helped me a lot.

They opened up my mind In understanding the queer life and being able to See and label toxic masculinity on people who don’t accept us nor want to help us excel in life as lgbt members in or fully out.

My previous stance on this topic was to be nice and people will see the good but now I have changed it to if you don’t accept me I am not here to please you, and in some ways it has worked with people who are not fully right winged but at the same to
Ive accept I can’t change every one.

Thank you for doing what you do best write and speak so eloquently (sometimes with Freudian slips which are great comic relives and I find my self chuckle while driving )

So I’m writing this text to really motivate you more to expand your podcast and maybe idea to get more involved psych DRs as guest on your show to expand and give more advise and toolsets on how to deal with lgbt issues on day to day basis.

And That you are changing lives.

Big hugs
