Every episode is an absolute delight. Michael is a thoughtful and charismatic host. He does a wonderful job of stepping back and letting his guests tell their stories, and engages them in conversations that are always great to listen to, whether they are funny or serious. Each episode makes me listen to music in new ways.

Listening to interesting characters talk about how music serves as a map of their personal, emotional journey through life is one of those simple, brilliant “why didn’t I think of that” ideas that works so well. Pair that with a charming host, and you have a great podcast.

In a secret Canadian government base in Placentia, a new entity was being trained as the ultimate podcasting machine. Condenamed M.O.D.O.P. (Michael Organism Designed Only for Podcasting), the creature escaped to the wilds of Ontario, hiding from Newfoundland military with dubious Francophone heritage under the pseudonym "Michael Collins" (obviously stolen from a school textbook). Free from captivity, this is his first effort and, honestly, it's pretty great. Michael knows how to get guests to dive into interesting and unexpected areas of conversation while discussing five songs. I liked his Megaphonic podcast so much I bought the company. Five stars.
